Planet 68 Black Glasses

The Planet 68 black glasses are a two-tone acetate rectangular frame with a gloss black outer and a clear transparent inner. The frame is notably slimmer and lighter in profile than a standard acetate rectangle, giving it a more refined look despite the two-tone construction. The clear acetate is visible along the inner rim, the nose bridge, and the inner face of the temples, creating a distinct contrast against the gloss black exterior.

The shape is a softened rectangle with gently rounded corners, sitting somewhere between a square and a rounder frame. The arms are gloss black on the outer face with the same clear acetate running through the inner side, tapering from hinge to tip. The nose bridge is a standard integrated acetate bridge in the same clear acetate.

Following a bad experience with another major online glasses retailer I decided to use Glasses Store and the whole process from start to finish was exceptional. I chose the A-Z sport (cheaper frames) as my concern was Glasses Store getting the lenses to my exact prescription. (I have a very high prescription). I was pleasantly surprised that the frames were the exact same quality if not better in my opinion than my Ray-Bans. For the lenses I ordered the Silver package with 1.6mm lenses and anti glare due to my high prescription. The lenses are amazing and to my exact prescription. Infact the 1.6mm lenses supplied by Glassss Store make my other glasses lenses look like jam jar glasses. Glasses were delivered within days. Which again is amazing considering my prescription. Could not recommend these guys enough and will definitely be ordering from Glasses Store again. My next pair will be the same lenses or possibly the 1.5mm in more expensive frames. The website has a great selection.

Wanted to shop around for prescription glasses because the last time I ordered online was a few years ago so stuck to a local optician. Found Glasses Store on Google and checked through the frames and prices. I paid £54 for my reading glasses and got the order the next day. I must say the frames alone feel like they are worth more than the whole order and I’ve not even got to the lenses yet which were atleast £60 without the anti glare coating at my previous opticians. Will not be buying my glasses anywhere else now.
