Frequently asked questions
Is 1.60 index the right lens for me?
If your prescription has SPH and CYL values between ±2.00 and ±4.00, 1.60 is the ideal choice. It is noticeably thinner than the standard 1.50 and includes anti-reflective coating as standard — making it a significant upgrade in both appearance and performance.
What coatings come with the 1.60 index lenses?
Anti-reflective (MAR) coating is included as standard with all our 1.60 index lenses. You can add a blue light filter, a sunglass tint, or transition lenses as optional upgrades at checkout.
Can I get Varifocal lenses in 1.60 index?
Yes. 1.60 index is available across all our lens types — single vision, varifocal and bifocal. Select your lens type first, then choose 1.60 at the index selection step.
What is the difference between 1.60 and 1.67 index?
1.67 index lenses are thinner again and better suited to prescriptions above ±4.00. For prescriptions between ±2.00 and ±4.00, the 1.60 gives an excellent result at a more accessible price point. Both include anti-reflective coating as standard.
