Frequently asked questions
Is 1.67 index the right lens for me?
If your prescription has SPH and CYL values between ±4.00 and ±6.00, 1.67 is the recommended choice. The reduction in thickness and weight compared to 1.50 or 1.60 is significant — making a real difference to both the appearance and comfort of your glasses.
What coatings come with the 1.67 index lenses?
Anti-reflective (MAR) coating is included as standard with all our 1.67 index lenses. You can add a blue light filter, a sunglass tint, or transition lenses as optional upgrades at checkout.
Can I get Varifocal or Bifocal lenses in 1.67 index?
Yes. 1.67 index is available in single vision, varifocal and bifocal. Select your lens type first, then choose 1.67 at the index selection step during checkout.
What is the difference between 1.67 and 1.74 index?
1.74 is thinner again and is best suited to prescriptions above ±6.00. For prescriptions between ±4.00 and ±6.00, 1.67 delivers an excellent result. Both include anti-reflective coating as standard.
