Planet 63 Blue Black Glasses

The Planet 63 blue black glasses are a two-tone acetate rectangular frame with a gloss translucent blue front and contrasting matte black arms. The combination of the clear blue rim and the flat dark arms gives it a more considered look than a single-colour frame.

The shape is a wide rectangle with a flat top edge and sharp corners, sitting on a deeper frame depth consistent with the Planet 63 range. The matte black arms are wide at the hinge and taper toward the tip, with the translucent blue acetate visible at the hinge join. The nose bridge has a shaped cutout underneath with integrated nose pads.

Following a bad experience with another major online glasses retailer I decided to use Glasses Store and the whole process from start to finish was exceptional. I chose the A-Z sport (cheaper frames) as my concern was Glasses Store getting the lenses to my exact prescription. (I have a very high prescription). I was pleasantly surprised that the frames were the exact same quality if not better in my opinion than my Ray-Bans. For the lenses I ordered the Silver package with 1.6mm lenses and anti glare due to my high prescription. The lenses are amazing and to my exact prescription. Infact the 1.6mm lenses supplied by Glassss Store make my other glasses lenses look like jam jar glasses. Glasses were delivered within days. Which again is amazing considering my prescription. Could not recommend these guys enough and will definitely be ordering from Glasses Store again. My next pair will be the same lenses or possibly the 1.5mm in more expensive frames. The website has a great selection.

Wanted to shop around for prescription glasses because the last time I ordered online was a few years ago so stuck to a local optician. Found Glasses Store on Google and checked through the frames and prices. I paid £54 for my reading glasses and got the order the next day. I must say the frames alone feel like they are worth more than the whole order and I’ve not even got to the lenses yet which were atleast £60 without the anti glare coating at my previous opticians. Will not be buying my glasses anywhere else now.
