A-Z 0492D Brown Glasses

The A-Z 0492D brown glasses are a full-rim acetate cat-eye frame in a translucent warm brown finish. The acetate has a clear, see-through quality, with the brown colour deepest at the top of the frame and gradually fading to a near-clear transparent tone toward the bottom and lower sides. This gradient effect gives the frame a light, airy feel despite its generous lens size. The lenses have a soft upward sweep at the outer corners for a gentle cat-eye shape, and the bridge is a built-in acetate saddle bridge sitting directly on the nose without separate nose pads.

The arms are the same translucent brown acetate, starting deeper in colour at the hinge and fading to near-clear toward the tip. They are straight in construction and taper to a rounded brown tip. A small square metal hinge detail is visible at the outer edge where the arm meets the frame front. The gradient nature of the acetate throughout makes this a noticeably different take on a brown frame.

Following a bad experience with another major online glasses retailer I decided to use Glasses Store and the whole process from start to finish was exceptional. I chose the A-Z sport (cheaper frames) as my concern was Glasses Store getting the lenses to my exact prescription. (I have a very high prescription). I was pleasantly surprised that the frames were the exact same quality if not better in my opinion than my Ray-Bans. For the lenses I ordered the Silver package with 1.6mm lenses and anti glare due to my high prescription. The lenses are amazing and to my exact prescription. Infact the 1.6mm lenses supplied by Glassss Store make my other glasses lenses look like jam jar glasses. Glasses were delivered within days. Which again is amazing considering my prescription. Could not recommend these guys enough and will definitely be ordering from Glasses Store again. My next pair will be the same lenses or possibly the 1.5mm in more expensive frames. The website has a great selection.

Wanted to shop around for prescription glasses because the last time I ordered online was a few years ago so stuck to a local optician. Found Glasses Store on Google and checked through the frames and prices. I paid £54 for my reading glasses and got the order the next day. I must say the frames alone feel like they are worth more than the whole order and I’ve not even got to the lenses yet which were atleast £60 without the anti glare coating at my previous opticians.
